Russia expels 45 Polish diplomats

Russian Foreign Ministry stated on Friday that 45 Polish diplomats and consul generals have been asked to leave the country by April 13, as a response to “Poland’s unfriendly actions against Russian envoys.”

Polish Ambassador to Moscow, Krzysztof Krasowski, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry where he was informed of the latest decision. According to him, the list of envoys declared as personae non-gratae includes employees of the embassy in Moscow, as well as the consul generals from Kaliningrad, Irkutsk, and St. Petersburg.
