Russia: New 24-hour virus cases record at 121,228

Health officials reported on Sunday that another 121,228 coronavirus cases have been recorded in Russia since yesterday’s update, the highest figure since the pandemic began in the country. The total number of infections jumped to 11,737,007.

The total number of deaths reached 330,728 after 617 people lost their lives due to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, making it the lowest daily death toll since June 28, 2021.
