MILITARY ADVANCEMENTS
· Intense positional fighting continues along the entire contact line. The Ukrainian Defence Forces are in control of the situation. Ukrainian troops not only deter the enemy’s onslaught, but also have significant achievements.
· On March 30, Ukrainian soldiers stopped the offensive of the largest column of Russian tanks and armoured vehicles since the beginning of the war in Avdiivka direction. In the battle, 12 tanks and 8 infantry fighting vehicles of the enemy were destroyed. This remarkable battle can be compared with the defeat of a Russian armoured column near Vuhledar in February 2023. Defenders of Ukraine do their work professionally, they deserve recognition.
BRINGING THE AGGRESSOR TO JUSTICE
· On April 2, 44 states signed a political declaration during the Restoring Justice for Ukraine Conference in the Hague.
· The signatories of the declaration expressed their readiness to work together to create a Special Tribunal to bring Russia to justice for the crime of aggression against Ukraine. Conference participants also welcome the opening of the International Register of Damage Caused by the Aggression of Russia against Ukraine.
· Russian war criminals will inevitably be punished, and Russia will definitely pay for the damage caused to Ukraine.
RUSSIA AND INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM
· The organization Islamic State-Khorasan claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Russian on March 22.
· Ukraine condemns international terrorism in all its manifestations. Russia’s statements about the “Ukrainian trace” in the terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk are unfounded and deliberately false. By accusing Ukraine of terrorism, Russia is trying to hide its own terrorist nature and distract the world from its daily terror against peaceful Ukrainians.
· Russians flaunt the torture of terror suspects: they spread footage where they cut off a person’s ear and torture them with electric shocks. Russian atrocities are no different from terrorist atrocities.
