Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Tunisia, Abdulaziz Bin Ali Al-Saqr, confirmed that Tunisia profits from an attractive atmosphere for investments because it represents one of the most important countries in which foreign investors, particularly Saudi, wish to execute their projects thanks to its important strategic geographic location (between Africa and Europe).
Abdul Aziz bin Ali al-Saqr added in an interview with TAP, that Tunisia is also characterised by its distinguished natural resources and important human resources in addition to its educated population, underlining in the same context as the good governance of Its leaders has helped send positive and reassuring messages for investment in its territory.
He clarified that “the development of trade between the two countries requires overcoming the difficulties of investors”, explaining that the results of the meetings of the Saudi joint committee and the joint business council with Tunisian officials on several occasions are considered important and represent the regulatory framework to develop relations between the two countries in various aspects. »»
He remarked that the results of these meetings were positive, especially in the sectors of scientific research, industry, environmental protection, and tourism, as well as in the fields of investment and Culture, which reflected in the field the rise of “Saudi relationships and communications with Tunisia”.
In the same context, the Saudi ambassador revealed that the next meetings between the two parties will see the examination of the projects previously carried out, recalling the arrival of more than 300 Saudi businessmen in 2023 in Tunisia to examine the completion of a certain number of projects, to invest and study obstacles in the field of investment and propose practical solutions, and to facilitate investment procedures by using a modern banking system and by emphasizing digitization.
