The spokesperson for the Court of First Instance of Tunis revealed that the investigating judge at the anti-terrorism judicial pole has concluded investigations concerning the case known in the media as the “secret apparatus” of the Ennahdha movement. All of the accused in this case were directed to the Indictment Chamber of the anti-terrorism judicial unit.
This decision marks a critical step in a complex and sensitive case, involving severe accusations against alleged members of the Ennahdha movement. The “secret device” would have been used for illicit activities related to acts of terrorism, according to the theories put forward by the investigators.
The referral of the accused to the Indictment Chamber means that the case will now enter a new judicial stage, where the evidence will be examined in depth, and decisions will be made on prosecutions and possible sanctions.
This affair continues to arouse keen interest and numerous reactions within Tunisian society, emphasising the persistent political and security tensions in the country.
