Sherine Abd El Wahab before court

The Public Prosecution in Egypt has summoned Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab to provide her statements in response to accusations of insulting and slandering famous producer Mohamed Al-Shaer. The case stemmed from a report filed by producer Mohamed Al-Shaer with the Anti-Information Technology Investigations at the Ministry of Interior. Al-Shaer accused Sherine Abdel Wahab of unlawfully insulting, slandering, and defaming him during a press conference, as well as sending insulting and defamatory messages through the Instagram application after the video spread.
