Sousse: Arrest of a foreigner in possession of 400 grams of cocaine

The officers of the Tourist Police in the northern Sousse area were able to apprehend a foreigner from a neighbouring country after receiving information regarding his intention to traffic cocaine in the tourist area of Hammam Sousse – El Kantaoui.

According to a security source, about 400 grams of raw cocaine were discovered in his possession following a carefully planned ambush carried out by the aforementioned police unit in coordination with the Sousse North Criminal Police.

The public prosecutor authorised the detention of the individual and the preparation of a report for possession with the intent to consume and distribute narcotics.
