South Korea’s Yoon Suk Yeol arrested

South Korea’s President Yoon Suk-yeol was arrested on Wednesday for briefly imposing martial law in December last year, investigators announced.

A convoy of black SUVs, some with sirens and police escorts, was seen leaving the compound shortly before the news of his arrest broke. Authorities later confirmed Yoon was being moved to an investigative unit for questioning.
