The region of A Marina in Spain’s northwestern autonomous community of Galicia will be placed under lockdown again on Sunday in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 amid a new outbreak, regional Health Minister Jesus Vazquez Almuina announced.
The restrictions will come into force at midnight and will last until Friday. During this period, 70,000 people living in the area will not be allowed to leave and face masks will be obligatory. Furthermore, the capacity of restaurants and bars will be reduced to 50%.
