The number of infections with coronavirus stood at 239,638 in Spain as the country’s health officials unveiled on Monday that 209 people were tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. The daily growth in new cases was slightly higher compared to the previous day.
Meanwhile, the national death toll from coronavirus was at 27,127 as Spain registered no new deaths related to the infection since yesterday’s update. The country marks the first day without coronavirus fatalities since early March.
