Stoltenberg: Putin wants more war not peace

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told reporters on Tuesday, ahead of the defense ministers meeting in Brussels, that there are no signs Russian President Vladimir Putin is “preparing for peace,” and is actually “preparing for more war and new offensives” in Ukraine.

For this reason, it is urgent to deliver those weapons already promised to Kiev, Stoltenberg stressed. He further added that currently, supplying Ukraine with fighter jets is not the most pressing matter, but there is an ongoing discussion among allies on this topic.
