Sudan-(Audio) Death tally since protests rejecting the “military coup” has risen to 108.
Thousands of protesters have returned to the streets in Sudan’s capital in continuing demonstrations against the country’s ruling military leading to casualties and injuries.
Remarking on this, the spokesman for Sudan Doctors of Central committee Dr Mohmoud Wali affirmed that injuries have resulted from live ammunition after confirmation with the military.
He pointed out that the number of deaths since protests rejecting the “military coup” has risen to 108 according to the statistics of the Sudan Doctors of Central committee .
Our speaker further pointed to attempts to break into hospitals by military personnel, adding that they have launched an appeal to the civil society and international community to exert pressure on the military to step back from this attempt as it may worsen matters.
On the other hand, he added that people are being treated in hospitals with poor capacities, in addition to difficulty in communication between the medical crew as well as difficulty for doctors to reach the hospital to treat patients.
