Sudan Dissolve Ex-Ruling Party and withdraw act regulating women’s behaviour

Sudan ‘s transitional government has formally decided to officially outcast president Omar al-Bashir ruling party and repeal a public order law employed to regulate women’s behaviour . Sudan’s justice minister declared the two proposals, which answered to fundamental requests of the protest movement that helped oust Bashir.

On his part, Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok paid recognition on Twitter to women “who have endured the atrocities that resulted from the implementation of this law”.
