Switzerland detects 5 cases of new COVID strain from UK

Switzerland and Liechtenstein have recorded a total of five confirmed cases of the new coronavirus variant that was first discovered in the United Kingdom, the Swiss Health Ministry declared on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the two Central European nations also identified two people infected with the new COVID-19 strain from South Africa, the ministry said.
