Syrian Reporter Maha Alkhatib passes away

Syrian media outlets mourned reporter Maha Khatib, who died today, Monday, in Germany after a struggle with cancer.

Maha was born in  Aleppo in northern Syria, and after studying law at the University of Beirut and international relations at the University of Aleppo, she served in a number of media institutions, where she appeared for the first time on the  Syrian official television in 2003, then she moved to provide newsletters and worked on the Sham channel in 2007.
