Tehran: US has been shielding Israel from responsibility

Iran accused on Sunday the United States and its allies of shielding Israel “from any responsibility for the Gaza massacre.”

Speaking at a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting, Permanent Representative of Iran to the UN Amir Saeid Iravani said that while the Western leaders have been supporting Israel’s actions, they’ve “denied Iran [its] inherent right to self-defense against the Israeli armed attack on our diplomatic premises.” He went on to say that the West was engaging in a “disruptive blame game.”
