The Tunisian Federation of Textiles and Clothing (FTTH) stated that a deal has been obtained to get new quotas for simple transformation benefiting from rules of origin.
In its press release, the FTTH emphasised that it worked closely with the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, the Delegation of the European Union, Tunisian Customs and the Ministry of Industry to receive new simple processing quotas benefiting from rules of origin.
“The new agreements will soon be issued and will enter into operation in the first quarter of 2024. This is good news for our sector and for Tunisia, which will lead to the creation of new opportunities, the strengthening of companies in the sector and the creation of jobs. Details of the agreement in a few weeks,” adds the FTTH.
