There is life after Ennahdha: Tunisian-Turkish partnership in textiles, other agreements in sight in industry

The wheel spun for Ennahdha, which represented Turkey’s interests in Tunisia and not always to the advantage of the latter – and that is a weak word; the wheel is also shifting in ties between the two countries, which are beginning again on new bases. The Turkish Minister of Commerce, Omar Bolat, reported this Tuesday, June 25 that tomorrow, Wednesday, a partnership agreement will be initiated in the textile sector. There is talk of boosting investments in this niche, reports private radio.

The Turkish official made these comments at the end of a meeting with the Tunisian Minister of Trade and Export Development, Kalthoum Ben Rejab and the president of UTICA, Samir Majoul, at the organization’s headquarters…

Similarly, Mr. Bolat magnified his extremely promising meeting with the Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Fatma Thabet Chiboub; the two parties agreed to organize the visit of a Tunisian delegation, made up of senior executives from several sectors. The purpose is to harmonize the violins in industrial areas likely to attract investments in the interest of both countries.
