“Those who seek to sit on two chairs have no place in the State” Kais Saied

President of the Republic Kais Saied, Monday, had a meeting with Prime Minister  Najla Bouden during which he reiterated the major role of the judiciary in defending the interests and rights of Tunisian citizens.

He also underlined the importance of national sovereignty, expressing refusal against any foreign interference with Tunisia’s current affairs, adding that “whoever thinks they are capable of tracing a new route for Tunisia are mistaken.”

On the other hand, he urged all State executives to comply with the law, pointing out that “those who seek to sit on two chairs have no place in the State.”

“I remind that, everyone is there to serve the interests of Tunisia and fulfill the will of  Tunisian citizens. It is unacceptable that officials seek to counter the will of the people. They have no place in the administration,” Saied pointed out.
