The Algerian Center for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Geophysics reported a 4.0-magnitude earthquake on Thursday, March 20, 2025. The epicentre was located 9 km northwest of Mihoub, Médéa province.
Previously, on March 19, the centre registered a 3.2-magnitude tremor in the same area, with its epicenter 8 km northwest of Mihoub.
Additionally, on March 18, a 5.1-magnitude earthquake was reported in the same region, making it the strongest tremor recorded over the past three days.
