Tunis Stock Exchange: Tunindex falling

Market physiognomy

The Tunis Stock Exchange closes the session on Tuesday February 27, 2024 on a negative note. The Tunindex decreased by 0.21% to 8567.16 points. Similarly, the Tunindex 20 declined by 0.29% to 3769.90 points. With 48 active values, the balance of variations was pulled down, revealing 27 declines and 21 increases. The total volume of exchanges stood at 1.6 million dinars (MD) in the absence of a block transaction.

Behaviour of values

The best daily performance belongs to the AIR LIQUIDE value, appreciating by 4.49% to 76.85 dinars (D), followed by CELLCOM which documented an increase of 4.35% to 1.44 D. Following this same trend, UBCI and CIL earned 3.82% and 3.33% to 23.90 D and 19.84 D respectively. BH progresses by 2.38% to 10.75 D.

In the register of declines, MPBS lost 5.66% to 5.00 D, chased by BH LEASING which crushed by 4.18% to 2.98 D. BTE (ADP) shed 3.48% to 3 .88 D. Also CIMENTS DE BIZERTE and UIB slipped 3.23% and 2.90% to finish at 0.60 D and 25.15 D, respectively.

The CIL share has the highest volume of transactions with 231 thousand dinars of capital processed. The SOTUVER value, for its part, depleted to a total volume of 178 thousand dinars. The SAH title rallied, in total, 135 thousand dinars in trading volumes. ATTIJARI BANK drained 99 thousand dinars of its capital. BIAT was negotiated for 97 thousand dinars.
