Tunis Stock Exchange: Tunindex falling

Market Overview

The Tunis Stock Exchange finished the trading session on Thursday, December 21, 2023, with a negative performance. The Tunindex encountered a depreciation of 0.32%, closing at 8592.41 points. Besides, the Tunindex 20 fell by 0.36% to 3747.75 points. Among the 49 active stocks, the balance of variations leaned towards the negative side, with 28 falling stocks compared to 21 gaining ones. The total trade volume amounted to 2.7 million dinars (MD).

Stock Performance

SERVICOM completed the best daily performance, marking a 4.55% increase to reach 0.23 dinars (D), followed by ELECTROSTAR with a 4.17% gain at 0.25 D. ESSOUKNA and BH followed suit, registering increases of 4.11% and 3.37% at 1.52 D and 11.96 D, respectively. CIL advanced by 3.17% to settle at 19.20 D.

In terms of declines, ALKIMIA lost 4.19%, reaching 26.10 D, followed by SOTIPAPIER, which dropped by 2.30% to 5.52 D. SFBT shed 2.26% to 12.10 D. LAND’OR and ONE TECH also experienced a decline of 1.64%, closing at 6.00 D and 8.41 D, respectively.

The AMEN BANK stock registered the highest transaction volume, with a capital of 319 thousand dinars. TELNET followed closely, with a total volume of 241 MD. The UIB stock saw a trading volume of 220 thousand dinars, while ATTIJARI BK and WIB recorded volumes of 219 thousand and 182 thousand dinars, respectively.
