Tunis Stock Exchange: Tunindex regains color

Market physiognomy

The Tunis Stock Exchange concluded its session on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, with a positive performance. The Tunindex recorded a gain of 0.26%, reaching 8450.20 points. Conversely, the Tunindex 20 declined by 0.32% to 3695.91 points. Among the 55 actively traded securities, the balance of price movements leaned towards declines, with 20 stocks falling and 15 advancing. The total trading volume amounted to 4.9 million dinars (MD).

 

Behaviour of values

The top-performing stock of the day was SOTETEL, which surged by 4.64% to reach 3.83 dinars (D). Following closely behind was SOTEMAIL, registering a substantial increase of 4.38% to reach 3.10 D. Continuing this upward trend, CIMENTS DE BIZERTE and ATTIJARI BANK gained 3.49% and 2.42% respectively, closing at 0.89 D and 41.48 D. BIAT also saw a positive shift, advancing by 2.21% to reach 87.90 D.

In contrast, BH LEASING experienced a decline of 3.45%, settling at 2.80 D. ESSOUKNA followed suit, with a drop of 2.31% to 1.27 D. SOTRAPIL also saw a decrease of 2.30%, closing at 14.90 D. Additionally, MPBS and DELICE HOLDING witnessed declines of 2.00% and 1.49%, respectively, ending the day at 4.41 D and 12.60 D.

The stock with the highest trading volume was SFBT, with a total capital turnover of 1.7 thousand dinars. BIAT, on the other hand, saw a significant volume of 865 million dinars (MD) traded. The STAR stock accumulated a total trading volume of 322 thousand dinars, while BNA recorded a capital turnover of 257 thousand dinars. ATTIJARI BANK was actively traded, with transactions amounting to 251 thousand dinars.
