Tunisia: 10% of children under 13 have used drugs!

The president of the Tunisian Association for the Prevention of Drug Addiction Abdelmajid Zahaf has raised the alarm on the proliferation of the phenomenon of drug consumption among children in Tunisia.

In a statement made on private radio, Zahaf confirmed that “10% of children under 13 have consumed drugs at least once. 16% of them find no difficulty in acquiring narcotics,” according to him.

He also highlighted that many children use injecting drugs and this increases the risk of proliferation of dangerous diseases such as AIDS.
