The Ministry of Transport and Logistics announced that a sum of 111,000 TND was embezzled from Siliana regional transport company. The sum was stolen by an agent who intentionally failed to download some of the monthly subscription revenues for the year 2019 in the company’s current account , the theft was found after conducting an audit.
In an issued statement, the Ministry stated that after limiting the suspicion to the employee in charge for the accounts and informing the supervisory authority, the company filed a lawsuit to the Public Prosecution, which in return opened an investigation against anyone proved to be guilty and involved.
