Tunisia-124 cases of COVID-19 in educational establishments

The Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday the registration of 124 new cases of Coronavirus in educational establishments for as of  Monday, October 26, 2020.

The number of cases schools since the start of the school year, last September 15 and until October 26, therefore amounts to 1,706 confirmed cases and 4,233 suspected cases.

In its report on the health situation in schools on October 26, 2020, published on Tuesday, the Ministry of Education indicated that cases of contamination involved 817 educational establishments at an estimated rate of 13.36%.

Contaminations affected 719 students, 782 teachers and 160 civil servants between administrative and educational executives, supervisors, and guidance experts, while cases of contamination in the ranks of workers in educational establishments, amounted to 45 cases, according to the same source
