13 cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Tuesday the Ministry of Public Health announced, bringing the number of infections to 1,468.
The ministry emphasised that out of the 1,081 tests carried out including 50 as part of the follow-up of former patients, 34 cases have been tested positive including 13 more cases (5 local and 8 imported) and 21 positive cases among the former confirmed cases.
The tally of contaminations is consequently dispersed among 1,168 cases of recovery, 50 deaths and 250 cases still carrying the virus, including 7 are hospitalised.
All confirmed cases are placed in specialised centres, the same source stated.
