138 illegal migrants from multiple countries were arrested by a joint patrol of The Tunisian coast guard in the east coast.
“A total of 138 immigrants, including 123 sub-Saharans and 13 Tunisian nationals, were arrested in Nabeul and Sfax on Thursday night as they attempted to cross the Mediterranean clandestinely toward the Italian coast”, stated a statement issued by the Ministry of the Interior.
The migrants were handed over to authorities to take the necessary measures against them.
