Tunisia- 144 new coronavirus infections in 48 hours in Bizerte

In the past 48 hours, the governorate of Bizerte has recorded the infection of 144 people with Coronavirus, according to the acting regional director of health Dr Mohamed Bakri.

He said the number of confirmed cases has reached 896 cases, while the number of active cases stands at 453, and the number of deaths at 16.

The same source noted that the number of patients admitted to the intensive care unit of the Habib CHU in Bougatfa is 4, and the number of hospitalized in the Covid-19 department of the same hospital is 7 people whose state of health is stable.

It should be noted that the governorate of Bizerte recorded 12 infections among the medical and paramedical staff working in the regional hospital of Menzel Bourguiba.
