Tunisia – 15 years in jail for a sexagenarian for cocaine trafficking between Morocco and Tunisia

The Tunis Court of First Instance has sentenced a  62-year-old woman to 15 years in prison for cocaine trafficking between Morocco and Tunisia.

 

The woman had been arrested at Tunis Carthage airport, in April 2021, with capsules incorporating some 300 grams of cocaine in her stomach, which she confessed to having brought back from Morocco, to sell them in Tunisia.
