The Health Ministry announced on Saturday that out of 4,590 tests carried on October 30, 1,784 came out positive for COVID-19.
The tally has hence soared to 59,813 confirmed infection cases since last February, from 350,673 tests. Besides, by October 30, 1,342 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised, 228 of whom in intensive care units (ICUs) and 110 under ventilators.
