Tunisia-1,784 infection cases and 64 deaths reported on October 30

 The Health Ministry announced on Saturday that out of 4,590 tests carried on October 30, 1,784 came out positive for COVID-19.

The tally has hence soared to 59,813 confirmed infection cases since last February, from 350,673 tests.

According to the same source, the death toll has also risen by 64 to 1,317 since last February and till October 30.

Besides, by October 30, 1,342 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised, 228 of whom in intensive care units (ICUs) and 110 under ventilators.

According to the same source, 46 new hospitalisations were reported on October 30, including 9 in ICUs.
