Tunisia- 20% drop in number of Tunisian migrants arriving in Italy

The Tunisian Forum for Economic and Social Rights (FTDS) has reported a 20% decline in the number of Tunisian migrants reaching Italy since the start of the year until August 31, 2023, compared to the same period of the last year.

In its report, the FTDS added that the number of migrants of Tunisian nationality who arrived on Italian shores from January to the end of August 2023 amounts to 9,283, compared to 11,172 migrants registered during the same period in 2022.
