Tunisia-2019 Presidential elections: 66 nomination files rejected

A grand total of 66 out of 97 nominees for the upcoming early presidential elections was steadfastly denied by the Independent Higher Electoral Commission (ISIE), promptly announced  ISIE ‘s member Anis Jarboui.
.

“Twenty candidates for the presidential election succeeded to properly obtain citizen sponsorships while eleven candidates acquired official sponsorships from MPs”, said Vice-President of the Independent High Authority for the Elections (ISIE) Farouk Bouasker.
The ISIE will properly arrange a press conference to proclaim the preliminary list of chosen candidates who were  for the presidential elections.
