Tunisia-2021 Finance Law: Cash payments limited to 3000 dinars

The finance bill for the 2021 fiscal year proposes to limit cash transactions for an amount greater than 3 thousand dinars.

This ceiling was five thousand dinars since 2019.

Under this proposal, contracts for the sale of buildings, business assets or transport equipment can no longer be concluded with bailiffs or be the subject of legalization of signature and registration if the amount of the transaction is paid in cash.
