272 people received the coronavirus vaccine on Monday, March 22, 2021, during the first day of vaccination targeting the elderly and people suffering from chronic diseases in the governorate of Medenine, the director of preventive health care Zied Al Anz announced.
According to Al Anz , 143 people got yesterday the vaccine at the regional vaccination centre of Medenine, including 63 women and 80 men, in addition to the vaccination of 129 people at the regional vaccination centre of Djerba Houmt Souk, including 48 women and 81 men.
Therefore, the total number of people who received the first dose of the vaccine in Medenine has reached 924 since the commencement of the campaign.
The two regional coronavirus vaccination centres in Medenine and Djerba proceeded this Tuesday, March 23, 2021, to the second stage of vaccination directed at the elderly and people suffering from chronic diseases, as well as certain health workers who missed the first phase of vaccination, Zied Al Anz told Tunisie Numérique .
