Tunisia: 3rd arrest warrant against Marouane Mabrouk

The financial judicial court of Tunis issued a third arrest warrant against businessman Marouane Mabrouk, this Wednesday evening, for accusations of abusive exploitation of his position sought at unjustified gain and harming the ‘administration.

This case is related to the decision of the Tunisian authorities to lift the freezing of Marouane Mabrouk’s assets within the EU.

This 3rd warrant follows a first for money laundering and a second emanating from the Tunis Court of Appeal.
