Tunisia-40 law professors sign a petition to denounce the decomposition of the State and the dissolution of its institutions

40 law professors have signed a petition to condemn the decomposition of the state and the dissolution of its institutions. The signatories voiced their firm concern over the decline of the general situation in the country, revealing that the President of the Republic is moving towards the execution of his personal project.

Examining the repercussions of concentrating power in the hands of one person, the law professors warned against targeting the ISIE as well as establishing a new regime or drafting a new Constitution following an individual approach. They warned against the degeneration of the situation of rights and freedoms in the country condemning the appearance of civilians before military tribunals. The professors have likewise called for unifying the ranks to save the countries.
