Tunisia-5 political parties warn against “imminent” social crisis

In a joint statement issued this Monday, the Democratic current, Al Joumhouri, Al-Kotb, Ettakatol and the workers’ party warned against an “imminent” crisis which threatens the country and civil peace.

These parties emphasised that the situation “which the country found itself continue to decline is the direct consequence of the policies adopted for decades.

They considered that the government selected by Kaïs Saïed has demonstrated its failure in the face of the challenges of which the country is confronted, cautioning against the orientation towards signing a secret agreement with the International Monetary Fund “.
