Tunisia- 528 more coronavirus infections, 5 deaths recorded on September 20

More 528 people (20.4%) tested positive for COVID-19 after a total of 2,592 tests were conducted on September 20, bringing the overall number of infections to 11,260, i.e. 5.6% of all tests made since last February (203,051).

According to the same source, 5 more deaths caused by the virus were also recorded, bringing the tally to 164.

Besides, 221 COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalised, including 65 in intensive care units and 31 under ventilators.

Overall, there are 8,719 active virus-carriers.
