Tunisia-593 places are still available in public preschool establishments

 

The Ministry of Families, Women, Children and the Elderly revealed today that the enrollment of children (3 to 5 years old) in public preschool establishments during the 2023-2024 school year continues and that 593 places are still available.

The ministry emphasised that the capacity of these establishments is 2,500 children. It likewise announced the opening at the end of October of four kindergartens in the governorates of Siliana, Tataouine, Nabeul and Jendouba. Five kindergartens with a capacity of 50 children each will be opened in December in the governorates of Bizerte, Béja, Jendouba, Sousse and Ben Arous.

Note that the ministry has devoted 50% of the capacity of public kindergartens to children from low-income families in priority interior regions.
