Tunisia- 627 vehicles seized within 48 hours after violating quarantine

Since Friday, March 27, 2020, the penalties correlating to the transgression of lockdown and curfew have been toughened for drivers who are now displayed to the seizure of their vehicle.

Interior ministry spokesman Khaled Hayouni said that 627 vehicles have been seized in the past 48 hours.

13,600 licenses and 13,980 registration cards were withdrawn from drivers who did not comply with the law, he said to IFM.
