Tunisia-8th anniversary of the Constitution: Issam Chebbi condemns the “militarization” of the Bardo area

Speaking today at a press conference, the Secretary General of the Republican Party Issam Chebbi condemned the “militarization” of the Bardo region on the occasion of the celebration of the 8th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution.
 
Chebbi stated that the Constitution was drafted on the sidelines of an exceptional plenary session to crown a revolutionary and democratic process with the participation of 200 MPs .
 
The speaker criticised the suspension of the Constitution by the President of the Republic Kais Saied, calling for the development of a participatory approach implicating all the parties involved to overcome the crisis confronting Tunisia.
