A U.S U.S. government-chartered flight carrying 98 Tunisian students who were studying in the United States on U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs landed in Tunisia safely.
U.S Ambassador to Tunis expressed gratitude to the workers of the Tunis-Carthage Airport for facilitating the arrival of the plane. “We are happy that the students arrived in time to spend Ramadan with their families”. reads a statement by the U.S embassy in Tunisia. The Ambassador also thanked the workers for helping the Embassy get 46 Americans home on the same plane.
The U.S. and Tunisia both continue to cooperate on addressing the coronavirus challenge, the statement adds.
