Tunisia-99 illegal migrants saved by national navy in Medenine

National Navy units in Medenine succeeded to thwart illegal migration attempts and save 99 illegal migrants of African and Asian nationalities (33 from Egypt, 64 from Bangladesh and 2 from Morocco) arriving from the Libyan coast aboard a damaged boat, Tunisie Numérique’s  correspondent reported

 17 migrants were rescued by National Navy units in coordination with Maritime National Guard units while another 82 migrants tried to escape by land. National Navy units managed to apprehend illegal migrants and hand them over to National Guard units.
