Tunisia-A new set of postage stamps to honor Tunisian women

The Ministry of Women revealed that a new set of postage stamps to honour Tunisian women distinguished by their brilliance and leadership throughout history, including the late Ahlem Belhadj and Néjiba Hamrouni which will be available from August 8 to 15.

According to the same source, the collection likewise includes a painting by young director Kawthar Ben Haniyeh, who rose to international prominence and became famous for her boldness in presenting subjects and her uniquely fun style in tackling community issues through film. art, radio host Alia Babbou, who influenced the socialization of children by guiding them, and academic Lilia Ben Salem and the duo Zina and Aziza, who gained international fame in the field of folk dance, the artist Hassiba Rochdi, who left a mark in singing and theatre, and the actress Fatma Ben Saïdane, who has a rich career and varied roles, the artist Oulaya, the song icon, the artist Habiba Masika, as well as fashion designer Fella, Om Ezzine Jammaliya, Fatma Al Fehria, La Dame de Carthage, Sainte Monique and the Water Puppets, interacting with the issue of water scarcity, which is considered as one of the immediate concerns with negative consequences on the reality of women, in order to encourage the control of water resources and the rationalization of its consumption and preservation.
