Tunisia-A security man abuses his power and attacks a high school principal

The assault on the April 9 high school principal in Sidi Bouzid sparked outrage among the educational community. Classes were halted yesterday Monday.
The school administration decided to bring a pupil before the disciplinary committee after the latter deliberately destroyed the appeal register. The principal of the school, Abdelbaki Chaibi, confirmed this Tuesday, November 30, 2021 to a private radio, that the father of the student, a police officer, arrived Monday morning at the school to talk with his victim concerning the decision to sanction his son .
Realizing that the principal did not desire to reverse his decision particularly since the student did not return the register, the father did not hesitate to beat the principal who fell to the ground and continued to kick him. The attacker then called law enforcement who arrived in record time and surrounded the school, he said.
