Tunisia-A woman dies every week

Coordinator of the UGTT Active Woman National Office Zoubeida Nakibaid told Tunisie Numérique that femicides have become more frequent in Tunisia.

“A woman dies every week or every ten days under the hands of a man. Generally, it is the husband, the ex-husband, the father, and sometimes even the son, for essentially economic reasons, “she said condemning the violence against women.
