Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, head of the Tunisian Observatory for Rights and Liberties, Mustafa Abdel Kabir, confirmed that the Ras Jedir border crossing has been closed for about a week, by decision of the Libyan Minister of the Interior, after the outbreak of a crisis that led to an exchange of fire.
Abdel Kabir clarified that all arrangements would be made for the return of customs and all agents operating at the crossing and coordination will be made with the Tunisian side about any new change, adding the crossing will be opened within the next few days.
