Tunisia-Abdelkabir: Dozens of migrants cross the borders daily towards Tunisian soil

President of the Tunisian Observatory for Human Rights Mustapha Abdelkabir cautioned against the worsening of the crisis of sub-Saharan migrants on the Tunisian-Libyan borders who have been hosted in the governorate of Tataouine.

Speaking to the TPA, Abdelkabir stated that other migrants are still stranded at the borders. He stated that dozens of sub-Saharan migrants cross the borders daily towards Tunisian soil.

The civil society activist likewise indicated that two migrants were killed while attempting to cross Tunisia’s borders illegally. He also warned that the lack of coordination between the Tunisian and Libyan parties in this direction will have a extremely negative impact
