Chairperson of the Shura Council of Ennahda Movement, Abdelkarim Harouni announced this Saturday, on the sidelines of the council meeting, that Ennahdha is following very closely the negotiations to form the new government, and considers that they are not advancing at the desired pace.
He added that Ennahdha imposed a condition for the success of the government, that is to say, to give its approval, and that it must be a “political government which gives importance to parties and which respect the will of the people, and the representation of parties in parliament ”
Harouni added that this way the government could have broad support in parliament.
He said governments are built on political parties, and it is inconceivable that you can form a government from minority parties while neglecting majority parties.
